The RLCS Season Two Championship schedule has been released ahead of tomorrow’s first round of matches.

Our Masterminds Rocket League team will face off against 1More when week one of league play commences this Sunday, 09 April 2017 at 11am AEST.

Each team will face off against two different opponents per week, however both Masterminds and Alpha Sydney will have a bye this week and will only face one opponent.

Masterminds Captain, ‘Kamii’ says the boys are feeling confident and have done plenty of soul-searching following their defeat to Corvidae in the ESL Championship league earlier this week.

“Our performance on Wednesday was definitely not one of our best, and we have learned a lot from it. You can expect much more from us when we take to to the field against 1More tomorrow!”

We caught up with Commentator “Yumi_Cheeseman” and asked him his thoughts about tomorrow.

“I’m really excited to be a part of Throwdown Esports, bringing the $20,000 Throwdown Rocket League OCE Championship, as well as being able to provide the RLCS qualifiers for the Oceanic region. It’s an exciting time for all of us here in OCE as it’s our first shot at the big stage, and everyone is really hungry to win. I can’t wait for the first day of League play tomorrow.”

The games will be streamed live to Throwdown TV. The Masterminds match starts at 3.30pm AEST so make sure you tune in and throw your support behind the team.

Masterminds qualified for the RLCS Season Two Championships after a thrilling game that went down to the wire against Trident Esports in the Open Qualifier last weekend.
